I thrive in an environment driven by problem-solving and creative energy. Throughout my own education, I have learned to combine two aspects of myself and realized my talent in design. A creative eye for detail and finding logical solutions. I grew up in the UK and obtained an Art Foundation Degree at Bath College and Bachelor of the Arts Degree with honors in Graphic Design from Middlesex University, London. Through my studies, I have a broad range of expertise in areas like strategic thinking and historical study, which I successfully utilize when faced with any type of design issue. I excel when designing with a tangible outcome in mind, which draws me towards branding and packaging design.
Before my current role, I worked in a small design studio which helped me to further develop my skills in strategy, creative thinking, and technical ability and apply them to real-life situations. I currently work in house at a large, fast paced B2B company which is experiencing a huge growth.
I play both piano and clarinet and am a member of the L-Train Brass band in Brooklyn. Music is a fantastic creative outlet for me that helps me broaden my mind and stay motivated. I am also a keen snowboarder and surfer when I have the chance but also enjoy yoga, pilates, and swimming that help me clear my mind and keep me healthy.
I stay current on industry and global design trends and am a member of the West of England Design Forum and AIGA. I connect with other designers and creators by attending local events, workshops, and inspiring talks from some of the worlds’ leading graphic artists.
